Final grades

Final grades have been posted on WebAdvisor.

Please note that we cannot discuss final grades over email for privacy and legal reasons. If you wish to discuss your final grade in class with me, you will need to meet with me in person when school is back in session.

Thank you for your hard work this semester. Have a wonderful holiday break!

Poetry links

"Obsidian Butterfly" by Octavio Paz - read for Wednesday, October 24

Here is a map of the world that places Australia etc. (the Pacific) at the top) and also represents landmass (size of different countries/continents/oceans) accurately.  (Click on the image for a larger-sized image.)  Please note that the maps we are used to seeing actually represent reality in a way that is inaccurate and skewed and biased toward a Eurocentric worldview.
